Alphabet Poem Victorious Return

A brave adventurer went on a quest
Beyond the mountains, east of the west
Crossing rivers, forests and plains
Determined to find what he sought to obtain

Endlessly he searched, never giving up
Finally, he found the treasure’s cup
Golden and gleaming, it shone bright
He knew it was worth the endless night

In his heart, he felt pure joy
Joy that no riches could ever destroy
Kneeling down, he picked up the cup
Laughing and crying, he lifted it up

More than wealth, more than gold
Nothing could match this feeling untold
Overwhelmed by his own emotions
Perhaps he had found true devotion

Quickly he stood, with the cup in hand
Rushing back, to his native land
Soon he would show all what he had found
That true treasure, in life, was not to be bound

Unwavering, he returned victorious
Victory, that he knew was glorious
With the cup in hand, he stood tall
Xenial, with a smile, to one and all

Yearning to share his newfound wealth
Zealously he gave, and shared his health
